From the Principal’s desk 

Hon’ble Chief guests, Special invitees, Well-wishers, respected teachers’, parents and my dear students, by recollecting the remarkable achievements of the yester years with your permission let me take the privilege of presenting the Annual Report for the academic years 2023 to 2025.

 Report on School Accolades 

Let us begin by celebrating the extraordinary achievements that have brought

immense pride and recognition to our institution. It is with great honor that we announce that  Madonna School has been awarded the prestigious Dynamic School Award by the Education News Network, hosted by Education Today on 10th December 2024 at The Taj, Bangalore. The award was accepted on behalf of Madonna School by our visionary Managing Director, Mr. K.L. Nixon. This accolade is a testament to the steadfast leadership, dedication to education, and the transformative impact we have made in shaping the lives of young learners over an illustrious career spanning 30 years. 

We are also humbled and honored that the Principal- E A Shiny was recognized as the Best Secretary of the Madonna Educational Trust by the Bengaluru Unaided Schools and Colleges Management Association on 2nd October 2024. This award is a reflection of the collective commitment and teamwork of our dedicated staff, supportive parents, and talented students. It is a privilege to lead an institution like Madonna School, where every individual contributes towards creating a culture of excellence and holistic development. 

At this juncture, we are also proud to celebrate the exceptional achievement of our dedicated educator, Ma’am Sunitha, who was awarded the title of Best Teacher by the Bengaluru Unaided Schools and Colleges Management Association. Her innovative teaching methods, passion for education, and dedication to nurturing young minds have set an exemplary standard for her peers and inspired many generations of students. 

These achievements showcase embody the ethos of excellence that defines Madonna Educational Institution. 

ADMISSIONS

Currently, Madonna School has a strength of approximately 1,800 students, and the response rate for admissions continues to grow steadily. Queries for admissions for the next academic year have already started pouring in. We are truly grateful to the parents for placing their trust in us and allowing us to shape their children's future.

ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT

At Madonna School, academic excellence remains a top priority. Our students consistently achieve remarkable results, bringing accolades and pride to the institution. 

SSLC Public Examination Achievements:

- 2022-23:  The school ranked 2nd in Karnataka, with a stellar score of 624/625 in the SSLC Public Examination. 

   - Smaran S, our top achiever, was felicitated by Deputy Chief Minister Shri.DK Shivakumar and Actor Shri. Ramesh Aravind on 25th June 2023. It was also telecasted in Zee Kannada TV channel. He also received the Dooravaninagar Topper Award from KeralaSamajam along with a Rs.5000 cash award for securing 624/625.

In the year 2023-24:   S Kamal secured 613/625, ranking 1st in the school and he was also ranked 1st in the Dooravaninagar zone and  had  received the Dooravani Nagar Topper Award from Kerala Samajam, along with a ₹5,000 cash award. Kamal also received an Appreciation Award and a Trophy for being among the Top 50 students of SSLC 2024 from Bangalore Unaided Schools and Colleges Association.We are incredibly proud of our students' outstanding achievements, which bring immense pride and recognition to Madonna School. 

Cash Awards for Achievers:

- The management, along with contributions from parents and teachers, organized generous cash awards for top achievers. 

 -  in the year 2022-23: ₹1,42,116 and in the year 2023-24: ₹1,36,482 was distributed to the toppers of SSLC 

All SSLC subject toppers and students who secured 85% and above* in the public examination were honoured with trophies. The SSLC subject teachers were also felicitated for their hard work and efforts to train the students.

Encouragement for the Current SSLC Batch (2024-25)

The management firmly believes in recognizing and rewarding the hard work and dedication of students. This year, as a token of encouragement, the top 10 performers of the 1st Semester Examination were awarded ₹500 each. This initiative aims to inspire students to strive for excellence and reinforces the values of perseverance and commitment.

Such recognition not only motivates the awardees but also sets a benchmark for their peers, fostering a culture of healthy competition and academic achievement.

FELICITATION of II PUC 90% & ABOVE ALUMNI

Our students have demonstrated excellence not only at the school level but also on a broader platform. All students who secured 90% and above in 2nd PUC were felicitated by the management. These students are a testament to the high standards of Madonna School and their ability to excel in the outside world. 

FAMILY DAY

In the month of June, the Family Day Celebration was held, focusing on strengthening the bond within families and showcasing the talents of our young learners. The event received an overwhelming response from parents, who enthusiastically participated and supported the initiative. Our Nursery, LKG, and UKG students, with just a month of joining school, amazed everyone with their confident performances, including dances, skits, and various stage acts. The celebration highlighted the joy and creativity of our kindergarten students, leaving a lasting impression on all parents and reinforcing the importance of family connections.
